The Gadzuric Foundation was created by New Jersey Nets center Dan Gadzuric and his wife, Lisette, who is an avid volunteer in the Milwaukee community. The foundation’s mission is to eliminate negative barriers affecting youth and their families, replacing these obstacles by fostering self-esteem with positive experiences that build autonomy, enhancing the community.
Prom is an important time for any high school student… and it can also be an expensive occasion. To alleviate some of the cost, The Gadzuric Foundation has created the Cinderella Project MKE, which will collect and distribute donated prom dresses to young women in need throughout the Milwaukee area. To receive a free prom dress, young women must apply with this application and submit a letter of support from a mentor and attend a prom workshop that fosters self-esteem.
The Cinderella Project MKE needs your help collecting dresses! Please consider giving your gently used prom, bridesmaid or gala dresses a second chance by donating them to a young lady in need. You can drop off dresses at Luci Boutique or by contacting the WGIRLS Milwaukee chapter for other pick-up arrangements.
