Save the Children

Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need in the United States and around the world. Recognized for our commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration, our work takes us into the heart of communities, where we help children and families help themselves.

In January 2005, the WGIRLS NYC hosted a Bachelor and Bachelorette fundraising auction event to raise money for the victims of the 2005 Tsunami tragedy.  All proceeds were donated to Save the Children and ASHA.   In June 2008, the WGIRLS NYC hosted their 2nd annual Love at First Sight Bachelor and Bachelorette Auction to raise money for earthquake victims in China for emergency fund through Save the Children.
