Harlem Hospital

The New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC), the largest municipal hospital and health care system in the country, is a $6.3 billion public benefit corporation. HHC serves 1.3 million New Yorkers every year and 450,000 of them are uninsured.
In December 2009, the WGIRLS NYC hosted its 4th Annual Hope for the Holidays fundraising event to raise funds for the Harlem Hospital and the Floating Hospital. With those funds, over 800 presents were purchased to grant wishes from “Santa” for 200 underprivileged children.
